Mercer Collector Sieves are available in 2", 3", 4", and 5" diameters as well as 53µ, 120µ, 250µ, and 850µ mesh sizes, and are FDA approved for food contact and marine environments. I needed a way to harvest copepods without dumping 1.5 gallons of culture water into my saltwater tanks. This set of four sieves did the trick! I was able to seperate the phyto and sludge from the pods very easily, and cleanup was a breeze! They're a bit pricey, but they're worth it. I only wish I had made up my mind sooner!
still waiting for delivery. I think they use camels. way way way too long to get this. this is nuts.
Ordered two sieves, one for separating the waste from my Phyto culture and the other to separate copepods, used both and am quite satisfied.
